4D Finance Integration 4th Dimension Recovery Center

Privacy Policy

Effective 18 September 2026

This policy describes how the 4D Finance Integration ("the Integration") and this website handle information. The Integration is operated by 4th Dimension Recovery Center ("4D") for its own internal accounting use. It is not offered to the public and has no users outside 4D.

This website

This site is informational. It collects nothing. There are no forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The site loads no fonts, scripts, or assets from third parties, so visiting it does not cause a request to any server other than the one hosting these pages.

What the Integration accesses

With authorization from a 4D QuickBooks Online administrator, the Integration accesses 4D's own accounting records through Intuit's API. This includes:

The Integration writes journal entries that allocate costs across funding sources. It does not initiate payments, move funds, or connect to Intuit's Payments API.

No health information

The Integration does not access, receive, store, or transmit protected health information, clinical records, or any information subject to 42 CFR Part 2. It has no connection to 4D's electronic health record, clinical, or claims-billing systems. Information relating to services billed appears only in aggregate accounting form — as ledger amounts — and contains no client identifiers.

Employment information

Allocating personnel costs requires payroll information. Payroll data is processed to produce accounting entries; what is written into QuickBooks Online is summarized journal entries by account, program, and grant. Supporting payroll detail is retained within 4D's existing payroll and accounting systems and is accessible only to authorized finance staff.

Storage and security

Sharing

4D does not sell, rent, or share this information. No data is provided to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own purposes. The only external parties involved are the service providers whose platforms the Integration necessarily runs on — Intuit, as the provider of QuickBooks Online, and 4D's cloud infrastructure provider — each acting on 4D's behalf.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, or to auditors and funding agencies in the ordinary course of 4D's accounting, audit, and grant-reporting obligations.

Retention

Accounting information is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described above and in accordance with 4D's record retention policy and the retention requirements attached to its funding awards. Credentials are revoked and destroyed when no longer required.

Disconnecting

A 4D QuickBooks Online administrator can revoke the Integration's access at any time from the connected-apps settings within QuickBooks Online. Revoking access ends all further data access immediately.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
